According to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council, Norway exported 69 billion worth of seafood and accounted for 37 million seafood meals consumed globally on a daily basis in 2014.

Norway is the world’s second largest seafood exporter and the top list of growing markets include the UK, the US, Netherlands, China and Poland. Despite tough financial times around the world, the industry has yet again been able to set yet a new export record.
