“It was the guys working in the production who wanted a barge from AKVA group. They are the ones who’ll be using the equipment, so their opinion matters a lot,” says Technical Manager in Måsøval Fiskeoppdrett, Johan Terje Andersen.

The company already has several feeding systems from AKVA group, both in hatcheries and other feed barges.

“The feeding systems are functioning well and easy to operate. This, combined with good opportunities to customize the barge according to our needs, were decisive,” Antonsen says.

The new AM 320 Classic barge will be the eight feed barge Måsøval Fiskeoppdrett puts into operation.
