New member of the beerenberg family

This has broadened our service portfolio.

Beerenberg Corp AS

Beerenberg is looking to expand its market segment using known implementation models and technologies. Consequently, the group has acquired Bouvet Industries in Skien.

Bouvet Industries was established as Vetlesen Stillas in 1970 and now has a workforce of around 70. In the last 20 years the company has grown to become a major scaffolding provider with a presence across Southern Norway. Its largest projects tend to be at the industrial hubs in Grenland, while its biggest customers are Yara, Norcem, Skanska and Veidekke.
“This has broadened our service portfolio. Bouvet Industries will remain heavily exposed to the scaffolding segment, but alongside that we are also growing our insulation and surface treatment business as well as associated services,” says Managing Director Kjetil Stöckel-Kvamme. At a recent open day at its offices in Skien the company found existing and potential customers giving the thumbs up for the company’s ongoing expansion programme.
“We found that many of them were surprised at the range of services we can offer and excited about the impact this may have on consistency, HSEQ and productivity,” says Stöckel-Kvamme. Demonstrations given during the open day included:

  • Scaffolding for the future, using 3-D scanning and 3-D modelling
  • Insulation and Benarx’s propriety range of insulation products
  • Surface treatment using a range of pre-treatment techniques
  • Mechanical services and Beerenberg’s proprietary cutting and gas detection products
  • Rope access techniques
