Peru Corporate Day

On 26th September, Oslo Chamber of Commerce will for the first time receive a technological business delegation from Peru to Norway, led by PROMPERÚ.

PROMPERU is promoting innovation as a fundamental tool to improve the internationalization of Peruvian companies based on an exportable offer with greater sophistication and added value. This strategic goal is aligned with one of the key objectives of the “Pacific Alliance”, an economic block in which Peru has been acting. The country is currently interested in rekindling its relationship with EFTA, regarding its strategy of joining the OECD. In this line, the establishment of an Embassy in Oslo was initiated since June 2017.

The delegation will be represented by the following companies: InkaterraInca tops S.A., Itatec, Andes AcceleratorBackground ASMinera Poderosa og APESOFT (Peruvian Software Association) and will represent several important actors within the sectors Mining/Natural resources, Tourism, IT and Fintech. 10.00 – 10.20: “Peru, challenges around the technological innovation” (Ministry of Production and Fishering)
10.20 – 10.35: Break (coffee and Peruvian appetizer)
10.35 – 11.15: “Innovation Norway” (presentation) (what is Innovation Norway, Norway and their public policy to open trade. What opportunities exist for technology transfer)
11.15 – 11.35: Key Note Speaker: José Martínez, Eksportkreditt Norge
11.35 – 12.00: Representative of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (to be confirmed)
12.00 – 13.30: Cocktail (Peruvian appetizer)
13.30 – 15.30: Match-making session (with the support of Oslo Chamber of Commerce and Promperu)
15.30 – 15.45: Closing speach (PromPerú will give information about the next steps including a workshop with the support of Innovation Norway in November)
